A teenage Mom & Anbownes {my Grandmother Fannie Louella JACKSON BARWICK} at my Grandfather Willie C’s Deep Freeze appliance store.

Lest we forget…

Luckie.

P.S. an extra hug to Renate for breaking apart my fog with laughter — it is indeed good for the soul!:-)

  1. What a neat picture! I LOVE their clothes!

  2. Herstoryan, we are so much alike! I’ve often wished for a vintage wardrobe of 30s, 40s & 50s frocks! Everything was so refined, so feminine, so chic!

I would have glady accepted hand me downs from my Grandmother — she was ALWAYS the epitome of STYLE!:-)

  3. I love photos of where folks worked. It seems my family took so few… I really miss them!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Bill ;-)

  4. Hi Bill! My Grandfather, William Charles BARWICK was always quite the businessman! For most of my Mother’s life & all of mine he had his own business — the appliance store was only one several!

He was the living example of what hard work & persistence can achieve!:-)

    Luckie.
