Prayer.
It’s a slow and challenging start today with Mom. Alzheimer’s Disease is taking its toll… little by little, I see the feisty, funny, petite woman who I adore, fade away.
This new woman, is empty, sad and weathered. Amazing what happens to the body when the spirit starts to leave.
This morning Mom cries and tells me she’s tired. Says she loves me and looks forward to the time we spend together each week, but doesn’t want to hold me back — keeping me and the kids from living.
She is confused and doesn’t understand what’s happening to her. I understand and am heartbroken that she has to endure it.
I hate this disease, it is cruelty personified.
Pray for my Mom friends.
Luckie.
May Mom be well.
May Mom feel protected and safe.
May Mom feel pleased and content.
May her physical body support me.
May her life unfold smoothly with ease…
{Metta Sutta ~ Loving Kindness}

This is when you get to reap the harvest of all the seeds of love, support and kindness you’ve planted along the way. Know that you’re not alone, in this!
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
Luckie,
You, your mom and your family are always in my prayers. I know all too well how it feels to see the mom that you love disappear before your eyes. You will always have my love and support. I’m just a phone call away.
San.
My friend, you, mom, and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. It is a cruel disease that I would not wish on anyone. And yet, there are can be and are many moments of sunshine through it all.
Luckie, keeping mom, you, and the family in my thoughts and in my prayers today, tomorrow, and always. Just rememeber, God puts nothing on us that we can’t bare! If there is anything that I can do, please don’t hesistate to contact me. Always know that we are all here for you and are in this together.
Luckie~
I would give anything to be able to change what Mom, you and your family are going thru. It must be very confusing for your mom but you being there gives her comfort, even at the worst times.
Please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts as I move thru my day ~ everyday. You have my (as well as everyone elses) unconditional support, if you need anything at all, we are here.
